Cellino Gives Back
TRUCK WRAP CONTEST
One of the biggest ways Cellino Plumbing Heating & Cooling gives back to the local community is through our Annual Truck Wrap Contest. Each year, we host a contest that mimics March Madness. Nonprofit organizations are nominated for the contest and then added to a voting bracket where they go head-to-head with competing organizations. The community can participate and vote on the bracket throughout the entirety of the contest. The winner of the Truck Wrap Contest then has the opportunity to design a custom-wrap for one of our Cellino Plumbing & HVAC trucks. Along with that, the winning organization receives 5% of that truck's revenue for a whole year!
2022 Winners
Our 5th annual Truck Wrap Contest was another great success! For the first time ever, we had TWO winners for the 2022 contest - and BOTH were animal rescues! Ten Lives Club and Buddy's Second Chance Rescue were the two finalists, and the Cellino Plumbing & HVAC team had a very difficult time deciding between these two amazing organizations!
2021 Winner
This year's Annual Truck Wrap Contest was another huge success! The nonprofit organization that came out on top was GiGi's Playhouse. Their sole mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all.
2020 Winner
Autism Nature Trail at Letchworth State Park was our 2020 Truck Wrap Contest winner! The Autism Nature Trail (The ANT) is a safe, inclusive recreational trail designed to allow visitors with autism and other developmental disabilities to push boundaries, explore new activities and develop skills.
2019 Winner
Our 2019 Truck Wrap Contest winner was Animal Food Bank. Their sole purpose is to acquire food through support from both the general public and private entities and other resources in an effort to feed as many hungry animals as possible.
2018 Winner
This was the very first year that we ran our Annual Truck Wrap Contest. The winner for 2018 was Wings Flights of Hope. The mission of this organization is to help people in need of free air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes.
NON-PROFIT OF THE MONTH WINNERS
Throughout 2018, 2019 and 2020, Cellino Plumbing Heating & Cooling hosted monthly contests on our website for local nonprofit organizations. At the start of each month, we would launch a brand-new contest with a $500 donation prize. The community had two weeks to nominate their favorite nonprofit organization as much as possible and then the top 10 organizations with the most nominations moved on to the voting round. The voting period ran for one week, and at the end, the nonprofit with the most votes was crowned the Nonprofit of the Month Contest winner. The winner not only received the $500 donation, but also a radio show hosted by Rob Banks from WYRK. These contests gave us the opportunity to support all different types of nonprofit organizations in the area.
