Cellino Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric completed a full house trap replacement for a single-family home in Hamburg, NY. The project addressed ongoing sewer issues caused by a failing cast iron trap and improper pitch in the original line.
Our team excavated to expose the existing trap, removed the failing section, and inspected the entire sewer line with a camera from the home to the town main. We installed a new 4” PVC trap and a forward-sweep cleanout, connecting to the existing cast iron using mission couplings. A new vent and cleanout riser were added for proper access and future maintenance. The piping was bedded in stone, inspected, and backfilled, leaving soil mounded to allow for natural settling.
