Each year, Cellino Plumbing Heating & Cooling runs an Annual Truck Wrap Contest for the nonprofits in our community. The contest mimics the March Madness bracket. Nonprofit organizations are nominated for the contest and then added to a voting bracket where they go head-to-head with competing organizations. The community can participate and vote on the bracket throughout the entirety of the contest. The winner of the Truck Wrap Contest then has the opportunity to create a design that will be co-branded on one of the trucks in our fleet. Along with that, the winning organization receives a monthly donation check throughout the entirety of the year.
2022 Truck Wrap Contest Rules:
- Only nonprofit organizations are eligible to participate - 501(c)3
- Each individual can only nominate ONCE PER DAY throughout the nomination round and ONCE PER ROUND during the voting bracket
- The winning organization must be primarily located in Erie County
- No organization can win back-to-back contests
- An individual from each organization must formally enter themselves into the contest by March 20th (Link: https://cellinoplumbing.com/truck-wrap-contest-2022/)
- No organization can progress past the Top 8 Voting Round without submitting their organization into the contest (If one or more organizations do not fill out the submission form by the Top 8 Voting Round, we will move the organization/s with the next highest number of votes to take their place)
- Winner must attend final voting round to be eligible to win final round. The final two nonprofit organizations will each give a 20 minute pitch/presentation to the Cellino team about why their nonprofit deserves to win
- Final winner announced on DATE TBD.
- Winner will receive 50% of all furnace & A/C tune-up revenue for 12 months
- Winner will receive a co-branded, custom-designed Cellino Plumbing, Heating & Cooling truck wrapped from VSP Graphics. Organization will work with VSP graphics and Cellino Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in collaboration for truck wrap design.
- Truck wrap will remain on truck for the life of the truck.
2022 TRUCK WRAP CONTEST FAQ
What is the Truck Wrap Contest?
One of the biggest ways Cellino Plumbing Heating & Cooling gives back to our community is through our Annual Truck Wrap Contest. Each year, we host a contest that is set up like a March Madness basketball bracket. Nonprofit organizations are nominated for the contest and then added to a voting bracket where they go head-to-head with competing organizations. The community can participate and vote on the bracket throughout the entirety of the contest.
Who can be nominated?
Any nonprofit organization (501c3) in Erie County may be nominated for the contest. The first round is a nomination/general round and runs from 2/14-2/28. From there, the 64 nonprofits with the MOST votes will be moved forward to the voting bracket rounds.
How does the contest work?
There are 7 rounds.
Round 1 is the general nomination round, and runs from 2/14-2/28.
Top 64: The 64 organizations with the most votes move on to our first voting bracket. This round runs 3/2-3/7.
Top 32: The 32 organizations with the most votes move on to our second voting bracket. This round runs 3/9-3/14.
Top 16: The 16 organizations with the most votes move on to our third voting bracket. This round runs 3/16-3/21.
Top 8: The 8 organizations with the most votes move on to our fourth voting bracket. This round runs 3/23-3/28.
Top 4: The 4 organizations with the most votes move on to our fifth voting bracket. This round runs 3/30-4/4.
Final 2: The final 2 organizations will present to Cellino Plumbing, Heating & Cooling’s team on April 13.
The Cellino Plumbing, Heating & Cooling team will vote on the final 2 organizations and will determine the winner.
The winner will be announced on DATE TBA.
What does the winning organization receive?
The winner of the Truck Wrap Contest has the opportunity to design a co-branded, custom-designed wrap for one of our Cellino Plumbing & HVAC trucks. Along with that, the winning organization receives 50% of all Furnace & AC Tune-up revenue for a whole year!
Do I need to give you information to vote?
Yes, you will need to provide us with an email address to vote. This is so that we can track voters are only voting once per day.
How can I get my nonprofit to win?
Share, share, share! Sharing on social media is the best way to spread the word about the contest! You may nominate once per day during the nomination round, and vote once per round during the bracket rounds.
